Default Spotting Scope Suprise!

So I'm playing with my spotting scope and out walks this! Crappy picture (phone pressed against eyepiece). Any idea what it would score?

Tough to judge by that pic, but I'd say 160

Oh yes! The biggest buck I have ever shot was about as big as the brow tines . More for the meat. I know where I will be when the zone opens!

That's a dandy! I'd say in the 160s as well if both sides are 6 points.

Spotting scope: the most under utilized hunting tool IMO. Beautiful buck.......good luck

Oh, he's just a baby!

If you look close enough, you can see the milk on his lips...

Now, where did you last see him, exactly? GPS co-ordinates are fine...

Kidding! He's definitely a shooter. Scores "boom" for me as well. Would not be surprised if he's pushing the 170's.

Pictures a bit fuzzy, but I'm going to say 196 3/8, as symmetry is affected by the G3 left side.

His body looks like a muley? But his rack looks like a whitetail on the small screen of my iPhone.

I would not be surprised if he went in the 170's based on the very little we can see. Takes a very big deer to be that there but he could be a candidate

Haha that's awesome! Could spend years scouting to find a buck like that. My guess would be high 160's-170 gross but tough to eyeball it off the pic. Best to get him down and take a tape to him

Looks like a 5x5 to me. My wild guess is low 150's.

How long do you think the G2's and 3's are?

Not much longer then his ears first pictuRe looked really wide I would put him at 17-19 wide and he's not heavy by any means I say solid 150 deer thought he was wider. The one I have pictures of in my scope are bigger then him and he walked

I think you are right. I took another look.

I was seeing (or imagining) extra tine length from the foliage before.
