Score BB has worked fine for me. I have a lot of blindside, black cloud, hevi steel partial boxes laying around. I just stick to score BB now.

Pattern your shotgun to find a load and choke combination that works. More pellets to the head and neck kills period. Odd that those encouraging the lightest load possible will chastise those in other threads for using a cartridge and bullet combination they feel is too light. Yet another case of do it like I do or you're stupid.

I use #2 in 3" and full choke for geese and #4 in 2 3/4" or 3" and a modified choke for ducks (of course an occasional one gets the #2s when geese hunting). I've tried 3 1/2" but it's just not worth it, IMO: lots of bang but the birds fall (or don't fall) all the same.

I have also used the Blind Side and Black Cloud and I could not see that much more of a difference and do not believe the value is there for the money asked for it. In fact, after going through half the box of Blind Side on a hunt this year, I switched back to the regular shells and did better (I still have the remaining Blind Side in my backpack).

The gun I am shooting now is a Winchester SX3 with Invector-Plus extended chokes.

IM all about value as I refuse to spend $25 a box for shooting birds with a brain the size of a pea LOL!!! Winchester xperts kill birds at $13 a box and does me just fine.
i like 3'' no:1 shot too,but its hard to find No:1 shot

FULL lead, or FULL steel? Full lead is not recommended for steel shot, and the patterns usually are not great at any constriction more than MOD lead.

All newer Browning Invector chokes are compatible with steel. #2's appear to pattern just fine with the extended choke. I've shot some #1's as well (about a box) but never checked the pattern prior to that. That's probably as big as I would go though.
