Default where to fish

hello all..

just recently joined this forum group and have enjoyed reading it...

i moved here to alberta just over a year ago from ontario, where i lived on the shores of lake huron. i spent most of my youth and adult years fishing for lake trout, pickeral, salmon and bass..

my sons and i were very avid shore fisherman for bass, walking the bayfield, maitland and saugeen rivers for bass in the late spring and trout in the fall..

i now live in edmonton and have tried fishing the big river here, and have not had much luck,,,, my bass techniques just do not work here...lol

so im open to suggestions of rivers/creeks to try and some new basic techniques so i can revamp my fishing to fit alberta..

as mentioned earlier i prefer to fish from shore or wad...

thankyou,
keith c.
