Default NSR Best

Diggin through some old pics and found this one. This was the best fish we ever caught out of the NSR. No legnth or weight recorded but awesome none the less. Think it was about 7 years ago, Me and the old lady were fishin for whatever and SHE caught a fish. There i am, 50 # spider wire, great big "J" hook, chunks of chicken, going for the elusive sturgen. All of a sudden the girlfriend's reel starts to lose line. She calls out for help, IT'S TOO HEAVY!! So i grab ahold of her fishin' rod and we start the fight. After about 15 minutes of trying to play this fish out with 8# TEST line and a $0.99 pickeral rig we got it in. Checked the fish out for a bit took some pics and let it go. Not 5 minutes after letting it go the disposable camera hits the river! Grabbed it out and fired it on the dash of the truck hoping for the best. It worked out in the end and we have pictures of the fish.

Ahahaha I noticed that too!

And I agree, wicked fish! I've only caught the one big sturgeon (and one baby) and I can't believe the fight they put up. I can only imagine that fight on 8lb test!
