Default If your looking for used trucks it's a good time for buyers!!!!

I have been looking for a good used truck for sometime and within the last few weeks the dealers are really starting to get motivated😃 Finally made the deal yesterday on a truck I had looked at in February and they would not move much then! Well they moved a lot yesterday!!!! I paid less than I was offering earlier! It's one good thing about the slump!

I am going to wait a few more months. The effects of the economic slow down in Alberta hasn't hit full force yet. I don't think we've seen the motivated sellers at full throttle yet...

Congrats on your new purchase.

I know some dealers are moving them south. With the weak dollar they are turning a tidy profit

Yup, used to be a big business a few years ago for brokers.

I'm keeping my eye on the market, wouldn't mind picking up a nice crew cab to replace my old suburban.

the old man almost did that.

he had an offer and could have sold it down there to a dealer and made 4K more. i guess he didn't have the time to drive it down

Deals on new trucks are good too. Bought a diesel dually last month. A few years ago there was reason to buy out of the US, but with the exchange rate there's not much value to gain anymore.

As in stateside? I remember the big 3 voiding warranties if we went south of the boarder to save some dough a few years back, now that's where they are sending the ones they can't sell?
