man makes me wanna give the bow a shot soon here...just got a new fly rod thanks to Dodger....but dont have much of a supply of flies

They are an awesome looking fish really love em.
I will eat them time to time. but 99% on the time just C&R,
the bow is great, havent really fished it much but am starting to now
and im not much of a fly fisher but i am learning cant wait to get a nice brown on a fly rod.

I had a nice brown on a silver and black rapala during the summer....if they werent so expensive I might pick up a couple

Nice Browns! Southside I assume? Would you really eat a bow river fish south of Calgary? You might grow a third arm lol

Nice fish, there's some really nice trout in that river!
Just as a side note, not trying to stir anything up here, but it can be hard on the fish when you lay them on the snow like that. Snow and dry ground removes their protective slime, which can leave them vulnerable to disease. Still some nice fish though, just a pointer for next time.

and ya i probably wouldnt eat much out of the bow lol. well not around here anyways, and yep taken from the south side of the city,

Nice fish, i have yet to catch a brown since i don't fish rivers or streams. It will be a goal of mine to get one this year. Since I don't fly fish, sounds like raps is the way to go.
