German Wirehaired Pointer
I’m wondering if anyone in the Edmonton area has a GWP and would be willing to allow me to pet their dog, I really like the breed but I want to make 100% sure I’m not allergic.
I realize it’s not a normal request but thought I’d try.

I am in Camrose, you can come out and pet my Drahthaar and let him lick you, if you like. I can also recommend a couple of very good kennels.

i got one you can pet , but he will expect you throw his ball after , tofield area.

You forgot to mention multiple times. I don't throw anything anymore for my Dachshund as he won't let it go.

OP, this dog will lick your face so much your cheeks will fall off. You’d be hard pressed to find a more friendly, loveable dog.

I meet a guy that had puppy wired haired pointer and he said his bread did not grow higher than his knee not like a GSP. Is there a dog like like that or all they all tall dogs ?

Butch!
Go and see Elk's dog, his name is Butch, Butchie to his friends, Elk is an expert for this breed, he is also an excellent shot so you can learn a lot!

I am by no means an expert on any breed, and I had a great deal of help training my dog, as I am a novice, when it comes to training dogs. I have a very good dog, because I bought from very good bloodlines, gave my dog a great deal of exposure to birds, and had help from members of two NAVHDA chapters, who have a great deal more experience than myself.
