Post Need help catching pike and burbot during day time!!!!!

Does anyone know what lures or bait to catch pike or burbot in the day? And how deep? Thanks

What methods have you tried so far and your location would help

Pike in the day I would fish 3-12 FOW depending on the lake. As far as burbot go. I never targeted them during the day, But if you are I would fish in 30 FOW right on the bottom and hope for the best.

I've caught them with wireworms while fishing for whitefish but i rarely catch them in buzzbaits which was a couple years ago, same thing with burbot but was accomplished and down by Brownlows Gull lake

spoons- williams wobblers and len thompsons

Jighead with smelt or even a just a plastic of some sort.

Have caught 22 pike so far this winter using only spoons, no bait. 12 feet of water. Hope that helps

black jig head with a white double tail body on it. tip with smelt, bounce off bottom
