Default Happy Thanksgiving To You All

Happy thanksgiving to all and your families, I hope everyone is where they want to be and enjoying turkey and all the trimmings with those you love.

Enjoy your day, take care and be safe.

Waldew, enjoyed family Thanks Giving, but darn sister in law thought Mexican food would be good change from turkey. Do Mexicans celebrate Thanks Giving?

Well said! I think that says it perfectly. I was fortunate enough to enjoy the weekend with my kids - had two amazing meals, some great laughs and I wouldn’t of chosen to be anywhere else but with them. Hope everyone else was/is able to enjoy the long weekend as well. Happy thanksgiving everyone!

We did our meal yesterday.

19 bodies total to feed(9 were Junior A hockey players)

17lb turkey
Large shank ham
Cabbage rolls
Mashed potatoes
Stuffing
Sweet potatoe casserole
Sweet baby peas
Salad
Buns
4 deep dish pumpkin pies
1 pecan pie
Chocolate zucchini cake

No turkey left over except the carcass
1/4 ham left over
And maybe 3 cups of stuffing left.
Maybe 2/3 of a pumpkin pie left.

And to top it off we all ate outside, which is a first!

Enjoy and be thankful everyone.

Best part about being single, besides doing whatever you want, when you want, where you want and why you want,……
Is being able to eat as many cans as you want.

That looks absolutely horrifying. I feel like I should go watch TWD or something so as not to have nightmares.

Happy Thanksgiving all!

Haha! Yes for sure there are some positives about the single life, but at my age for me personally - I’d take walking into the kitchen of a home shared with a spouse and smelling all the scents of a homemade meal from a woman who loves me enough to care that I get a thanksgiving meal. Oh and don’t forget the kids, I want them around too. But I’m older and more and sentimental most days lol so I get that’s not for everyone!
