Default Lakeland area ice/snow?

Could anyone comment on the snow/ice conditions up in Lac la biche/ Lakeland area. Hoping to head out Friday, would prefer to use my sled over the quad but it seems like a lot of lakes around Edmonton have little to no snow on the lake. Replaced my sliders once, prefer not to do it again. Thanks

Minimal snow on La Biche, about a foot of ice last week. Be careful at the heaves, open water near several. Some people have been driving on in places and many using atvs/sleds.

Thanks highwood, I guess I’ll take the quad as it sounds like there is little to no snow.
