Default X-Bolt - Stainless Stalker or Pro

I've decided on adding an X-Bolt - just a matter of deciding between "regular" Stainless Stalker or the Pro. The Pro nearly doubles the price - which is fine as long as the additional cost brings real value. Would appreciate any opinions/reviews from folks who have seen/used both. Thanks.

The rotary magazine is garbage. The spring loses its strength to push rounds up in the cold, and it becomes a single shot rifle.

Both great choices!
If the budget allows it, go for the Pro. If not you've still got a nice rifle.
Keep in mind, you will get comments from some who have not used or even handled both as the Pro is still quite new. I have the stainless stalker and have an order in for the Pro in 6.5 PRC.

Default Triggers

Browning would be a leader if they would revamp those awful triggers instead of investing in gimmicks like “X Bolt”...

The only browning I own is a Citorri but I don’t mind the triggers on the x bolts once they have had a MCarbo spring installed.

I have a pro in 300 win. It’s awesome, shoots great and carry’s really well even for a rifle with a 26” barrel. I topped mine with a swaro z3 to keep the weight down and I think I’m under 8lbs dressed. Not sure what the other guy is talking about when it comes to the trigger, it’s on the heavy side. mine is about 4lbs but it’s crisp and has zero creep.
