Great job! My first was at Dolberg lake on a yellow attractor dry fly. You won't forget that one! I love seeing people, young or old, catch their first fish, first fish on the fly, first fish through the ice, etc.

Nice!

My first fly catch ever was a 16 lb pike in a lake, beginners luck! My first ever river catch was a 20 inch bull trout.

I did my tour last wekend starting at Beaumont, then next day Ft. Sak pond and then Hemitage on Monday. stayed a few hours at each and caught close to two dozen all together all new stocks. Did not see any last years yet. As per usual the new stocks are pretty aggressive on the fly and left the worms alone from what I noticed for the people that had pickeral rigs out. That will change down the road. It is sure nice to walk in a group that have been sitting and fishing for awhile and catch them off the fly on or near your first cast. I love that look you get.
