Default Deer / elk hair source for dry flies

Been looking around for some decent elk or deer hair hair for tying dries, a lot of the stuff I've been getting online half the tips of the hair are broken this is really annoying and I know it probably doesn't effect the way the flies fish but it would be nice if some one could give me a reliable source for some nice deer and elk hair for tying dry flies thx guys!

Put a thread up on the hunting forum, ask around. TONS of wasted materials every year.

Running low also, the quality seems rather low in the shops.

Go to taxidermy shops and ask for the cape trimmings from the mounts.
