Looking to fish prairie creek (near prairie creek inn) during the later half of this week. How is the water clarity?

flowing more than usual for this time of year (about 1 foot higher). Still a little murky. Didn't do well in the deep pools

Water was decent on the 16th of August.

In fact water flows are near their lower quartile as indicated in the graph
on the https://rivers.alberta.ca/ website.
Click on the second icon that comes up when you click the Prairie location...you will then get the graph showing historical averages.

That said...the water temps are down...fishing has been slow.

Fished prairie today and found it to be a little cloudy. Fish weren't interested either.

Just checked the forecast...more rain on the way. Rocky area might make out okay. Central-West looks to get most of it.
