Default Neat find...

At least I think it's neat. I was recently following a pack of wolf tracks and came up on their beds. This was next to one. The top is chewed off and there are tooth marks here and there on it. I would really like to have a wolf scene carved into it, but probably can't afford it. Anyways thought I would share.

I think that is a neat find as well, good for you, now start saving so you can put that wolf scene on it. Thanks for sharing this!

Do you think you spooked them from their beds?

One of the neatest things I ever found was a bunch of wolf hair and blood ,among some elk tracks. Being a wolf is not an easy life.

Great find, I'm still looking far and wide for my first moose shed. Thanks for sharing, the wolf teeth marks just add character.

I hope the wolves don't come back looking for it hahaha.

I've shot a couple with healed-up broken jaws, makes you wonder what they ate while waiting for it to heal.

Were they healed straight?

I shot a coyote with a healed lower jaw that was about 1/4 out of line. Looked very odd but was a healthy dog.

Fairly straight, but looked like some nasty gum disease with deformed teeth.

Google transferring photo ink with turpentine. You can put a wolf image on your antler for just a few dollars.

Once I witnessed a herd of mule deer kill a coyote, I watched him lay down and die after being kicked multiple times. Also had a coyote get the **** kicked out of him from a bunch of cows not far from the house not long ago, he just needed to be finished off from 10' with a .22.

Wolves will take care of each other when injured. At my trapping class they mention individuals that had caught wolves and on the trail cameras other wolves would show up and bring it food. Other times they said they have caught wolves that had healed jaws, other wolves kept feeding them and taking care of them. Very smart animals.
