Default Bird of Prey Taxidermist

I recently found a hawk and I was looking for recommendations as to where to take it to. I travel a fair bit in the south and central area of the province so any suggestions are appreciated.
Mountain View in Olds was already mentioned to me.

Thanks.

Ray

A buddy of mine has used Top Notch Taxidermy out of Coaldale for quite a few mounts, including a Snowy Owl. It looks great.

X2 He does the best birds that I have ever seen. If you search past threads you will see some of the work he has posted on here.

Ben does bring birds back to life. You are going to need a permit from F&W to get it mounted.

Default 2 things...

- I'm surprised nobody asked if you've contacted F&W to obtain permission to keep it.

- I just found a hawk (actually 2, but 1 was destroyed) on the #2 HWY that's in good condition.

Did you get a permit to keep those?

All depends what you want to pay for the mount. Shop around bit there are some good taxidermists out there.

Default Picking Your Taxidermist...

We have some great taxidermists in this province and on this Forum, but I venture to say that Ben Khorshidnam from the Art of Taxidermy is my first choice. In fact, I've got a raptor at his shop now, waiting to be transformed!
