Default BC guided hunt options?

Long-time lurker but first time poster! Hoping to be a more regular contributor on the forums.

I'm a born and bred Alberta boy currently in the military. I haven't had the opportunity to hunt as much as I would like to the last few years due to training and work commitments. Prior to COVID I had planned to buy a land-owner tag in New Mexico for a guided Elk hunt- which unfortunately got scrapped due to the border closure. I'd still like to do a guided hunt this fall if possible.

I searched past threads for outfitter recommendations but many of the ones I found were a few years old. My preference would be to do a guided elk hunt this fall but id be open to other species. I've only ever hunted deer and birds- I'm not necessarily looking for a monster trophy. Id prefer to see a lot of animals and pretty country.

If you have any recommendations on BC outfitters please feel free to post or private message me? It's a big financial commitment so i'd like to make sure ive done some due diligence. Also if anyone has any recommendations regarding travel/cancellation insurance at this time id greatly appreciate it? I can't see the BC government shutting down the provincial border or myself catching COVID but that would be my biggest concern if it happened right before a scheduled hunt in the fall.

Blair and his wife are a good option, they have good numbers of elk there.
