Default Southern Resivoirs!!!!??????

hey guys , after all that warm weathern and open water on the southern res's And now this past week of cold , are the lakes froze back up? I am very leery about going onto the ice now, curious if anyone has been to grassy, chin, keho, lately? hows the ice?

My understanding is if you are heading to Grassy you might want to take the boat along.

was at Payne lake on Jan 7th. nine inches of ice with open water at random places on lake.

Keho is about 8", not sure about other reservoirs but I sure would like to fish some of the more southern ones soon..

Settle down guitar dude. we'll be out on Ridge soon enough in the meantime Sunday might be time for out little hang out we were at in December and I've got a nice little chunk of the smoked goodies for ya we were talking about

maybe in the canal but the 1/2 of the lake that was open only had an 1" yesterday so be careful.

There is suppose to be some cold weather heading our way so hopefully the ice thickens enough to go explore all the southern Alberta walleye waters.
