The tiny hooks work great tipped with a maggot, but as far as the road goes I have'nt really used it much. I'd rather use a trustworthy rod and reel.

the tip on mine just too soft to fish 20'down or takes all day to get to the bottom. I use a marmish jig with a fly 10" up they go nuts on the fly. have a prob at phillis they chase the fly rite to the ice. no leverage to set the hook fun tho.

what color tip you guys find works best?? I have the pink tipped marmiash , i usually use 1/16th oz jigs and under , i have only had my marmish out once in about 10 feet of water, and the strike indicator seemed not bad, almost a lil too soft tho, what works best for you guys?

my tip is green at 10-15' it is great but any deeper my regular out fit would out fish it two to one with the time it takes to get down to the fish.
