Old Tackle???
Anyone have old tackle or know where i can get some? Thanks for everyones help.

nanton,,, there's the big antiques jumble sale place on the north highway, big building,, they have some over priced crap but they also have under priced mint mitchell reels

Alright I might have to check it out. I am mainly looking for cranks and stuff like that, but I can't turn down a good priced reel. Thanks for the info.

there is another store there that had some old crankbaits but almost as much in price as the mitchell reels. though they were balsa so that's always going to get the price up.

Ive got some Antique plugs , jerkbaits , and Crankbaits , and spoons . They would of been new in the 40's . I think this could of very well been one of the first jerkbait , made out of wood , with what look like bent screws , Ive caught some nice walleye and pike on them things . Next time im out to the truck ill bring that tackle box into the house and show some pictures .

There is also a Canadian online antique tackle forum and lots of online sites. I like to collect but only fly fishing stuff.
