Default Lesser Slave Questions

My family is interested in heading up too Lesser Slave Lake and I have a few questions.

1. What is a good place to rent a cabin from?

2. If the lake gets to rough is there other lakes around that a person could fish?

3. Is June a good month to head up there?

Any other info would be great also if I have missed anything that a person thinks would be helpful.

Thanks!

Shaw's point rents cabins, boats, and all the gear. If coming to the west end of the lake be sure to wait until after June 16th. This is the day that the restricted area opens to fishing. Excellent time to head up the channel

Norms Walleye Camp, east end of the lake. It is on the river joining Slave Lake so if it is windy you can fish in the river. They have a couple of real nice cabins that are reasonable price. Very quite and safe. Book earl as they get sold out. They also rent boats. Phone 780-849-5204
