Default Aqua view

Hello I am having a problem with my aqua view . It is the hd colour and for some reason it keeps dropping down to black and white and some times it is less then a foot of water and then it just goes back to colour, any idea's what could be wrong

Not sure but give Aqua-Vu a call, they are World Class when it comes to customer service! Seriously they're awesome.

If you have the older Aqua Vu micro, I found mine automatically switches on the IR lights and to B/W for higher contrast. The lights will switch off automatically in better natural light condition and the color returns.

The new Aqua Vu micro AV with DVR has the on/off for the IR bulbs. On its maiden trial the new camera frozed up after 5 hours in the water
Traded it in today, and maybe try the model again this weekend. The resolution and picture quality is noticeably better in the new generation, plus video out option or DVR.

I thought I had the same problem, it turns out that in low light conditions, it reverts to black and white for an image with better resolution.
