Default Butcher Lake / Beaver Mines

Hi. Just looking to see what ice conditions are like on Beaver Mines and Butcher Lakes? Butcher east shore was open 2 weeks ago.
Looking to take the kids before it gets real cold

Thanks

Drove by last weekend (butcher) probably 15 vehicles there. People skating and fishing. Plenty thick I would think

I was at Butcher on Tuesday and it was good to go. Wind was absolutely howling, so I turned around and didn’t get the chance to fish. I think BM has been iced up for a while.

Beaver Mines Lake has had good ice for a while now as mentioned. Last weekend the ice was about 7" to 8" where we were. I first ice fished it this year back in the last week of November, and it was about 4" back then.
