Default Anyone from CN rail on here.

Hi there I was wondering if anyone on here works at CN rail. I am wondering your thoughts of hunter harrisson. How he was to his employee's, what type of cuts he made to the company that affected the conductors, engine men, section men and so one. Any info would be appreciated.

Default Hunter life

I was there for over 30 yrs and retired on Hunters watch. Hunter was a lot like a workers worst nightmare. Whether you were a labour, operator, clerk, enginman, in mid management or management and something went wrong you could expect him to call you up and chew on your ass or fire you.
If something went wrong he wanted someone gone immediately sort of a shoot now and worry about it later guy.
As far as making money he was a hero for share holders with a operating cost driven down to about 60 which is hard to believe.
If you watch this video it pretty much explains the day to day operation.

If your a CP employee good luck an watch you ass
an buy all the shares you can!
