My last F150 over 480000. Replaced it with a 06 F150 cause i was tired of the old one. I had it for so long. Guy has it now and its still running strong.

most vechiles which get maintained to a mid level start self destructing at about 250,000 by the time they hit 300,000 toast unless you want to rebuild once you start rebuilding you wont stop

If you know trucks(Ford)a little bit, and im guessing you do. You probably already guessed what my answer will be. The good old gutless but venerable 300 six with the 4 spd. Well known for longevity. !990 model.
I keep em along time and still looked good when i sold it too. Often got offers to buy it. Used to find notes on the wipers. Oh forgot it was on propane for some of its life. Still going strong.

When I worked in saskatoon a courier driver we used had an early 80's dodge with a cummins engine. He made a daily milk run from saskatoon to regina and back, 6 days a week for many years. 1,000,000 kms on it and nothing but a few minor repairs and regular maintainence

while im flattered i was just curious....i dont know fords very well and ive pretty much spent my driving career bashing their products...i will admit most of that is unfounded ribbing based on brand loyalty

but i like to hear about the old and worked machines still kickin ass.
