That's what I think.
The pic on the forum is smaller than the original, and it looks like a eye and the side of a nose to me. Kananaskis - and I did see two Griz a mile away, plus Black bears. My guess is a bear but not sure.

Never thought of a button though. Might be? But still think it is an animal.

When you zoom it in it sure looks like a nose.

This was taken few years ago and had a lot of moose come to this spot but this was the nicest bull. it was in 316
