Waiting on a reply from the Minister ops, called Wolverine spoke to Guy(nice, helpfull) and apparently the RC's just voiced a opinion that the guns should be prohibited and I was good to go to the range with my cz.
You might want to get a second opinion on that. The NFA lists FRT#s for the CZ 858. If you get caught driving around with a prohibited firearm, "a nice helpful guy from a sporting goods store said it was OK" is not going to be much of a defence.

Until you get the word either from the CFC/RCMP, or the PSM's office, and in writing too, I'd be sitting that 858 in the safe, and using my other toys.
Oh ya are you sure your 858 is one of the affected models?
