I actually wanted to mention that! the abu veritas i honestly absolutely hate. The cracks and edges and where all the bearings are. I have a rusty liquid leaking from it so it stains the white on the reels. I don't think i will be buy it again. Will probably just continue buying rod and reels separately instead of getting a combo for cheap.

Agreed. I just picked up a Stradic Ci4+ 1000HG that is my new light ice reel. It’s awesome!
