Default north raven

has anyone been down by the north raven? is it opening up yet? if not when does it usually become fishable? thanks

Was down there yesterday at 761 and it was open, Idont know how far down it is open but for the parts I could see it was free of ice. Fishing it next week I hope.

thanks for the info. i think im header down tomorrow, maybe tonight. i will let you know how it was. i have never fished it this early before, dont know what to expect. probably drown every nymph in my box.

fished upstream from 761. only saw a few fish. those were the ones that i spooked out from the banks. that creek has to be the hardest creek to fish in ab. my skills are a bit rusty from the winter but i didnt think they were that bad. the fish showed me otherwise. there was a good hatch of small stoneflys on.
