No one is twisting your arm to participate!!

We all have our reasons for the gear we choose .. And the question was asked for people offer their "opinions " based on experience.

It's all good bud

In 28 years of bow hunting and testing many different broad heads in real life situations , I have never found another broad head that opens a bigger wound than the ones I currently shoot ... They advertise a 2 inch diameter cut but open bigger holes than that. The entry wound on the attached pic is my last elk harvest. For reference the cam on my bow is 5 inches across .. I've never shot a fixed blade that does this on entry and exit., and flys true EVERY shot . Kinda like driving a sharpened school bus through the lungs ...

Every one has their own reasons.
This is mine

I just got some Exodus 100 grain full broadheads, and they are deadly accurate to 80 yards. Plus they are steel which means they should last for a while.

Question

"[QUOTE=BigRackLover;3303879]Many of the broadheads mentioned above we're tested with ballistics gel at Cabela's. Come find out the results this Saturday (20th) at 12pm at the Edmonton North Store."

What were the results?

X2....very interested.

Just bought QAD Exodus broadheads, so far really like how they fly. Will see how they perform in a real test!

I've only be able to Harvest an animal with muzzy phantoms 100gr. Fly really good with my set up and had no issues with punching through ribs and shoulder blade. 50 Yard blood trail. I'll be using them again this year. This was on a big ole cow elk.

I finally bought the Montec G5 100 gr. ! My hunting season started this morning, I practiced a lot, so I can't wait to see what will be the result. Thanks for sharing, and good season to everyone !

I killed 4 white tail does, 1 whitetail buck and a bull moose last year with the Hell Razor 100 grain broad head pulling back 62 pounds. Not a mechanical but less things to go wrong as its a razor sharp fixed broad head. Broad Heads put aside, shot placement will be the deal breaker. Happy Hunting!
