Default Shot gun shell boxes

Went into my ammo cabinet today and thought I'd share what I found. The box of shells that is marked $5.99 has all the original shells in it. The other looks quite a bit older and dad filled it with .303 brass.

The IVI's were brought out in 1976, are the Imperial head stamps marked C.I.L.? if they are , they would have been made after 1955

When I cleaned out my fathers stash, he still had some Maxim and Canuck loads, as well as some paper Imperial loads. As old as they were, they functioned perfectly.

I have a bunch of old shells kicking around yet, some I bought at MacLeod's store back in Sask in the 70's, also a couple of the old paper ones from the USSR and some old S&B papers.

Default #4 Imperials!!!

Boy were they great shells. I used them for everything. They always killed everything that I pointed them at.

So this thread made me look…in addition to three boxes of Imperials similar to those already posted I found this box of Meteor shells from Macleods. Love the price!
