Default New hunter Looking for partner

Hi my name is James. I live in Westlock county and I am looking for a hunting partner. Currently starting on coyotes near my place. I have permission from the land owners. I have never field dressed a kill or taken a pelt. I am however a fast learner. I am looking to take some pelts for rifle holsters, rugs, quivers. I am excited for the 2015 Deer and Bird seasons. I would definitely be interested in black bear this spring as well. I am pretty green, but a good shot up to 200 yards. Thanks for your consideration.

Firearms:
Marlin 336xlr 30-30
Savage 93r .17hmr
Mossberg 590A1 12ga

Might want to ask the mods to move this post to the "looking for a hunting partner" sticky on the top of this page.
Good luck, and welcome.

Hi James, I live in Edmonton and have quite a bit of hunting experiance under my belt to include upland game, ducks, geese, moose, elk, deer and bear hunting.

When I started big game hunting, I did it on my own without someone to show me the ropes, made a lot of mistakes! A great pace to start is to go to a hunting store or Archery outlet and get some hunting videos on the species you want to hunt.

Feel free to PM me if you like. Welcome to AO, you will difinately learn a lot here.

Welcome and good luck, someone will take this on, I am too far or would take the task/adventure on.
