I received an email back saying that the page did nothing wrong. So I replied to that email. I logged into Facebook, rated their response and reported the page again.

Well as a new hunter this year, i personally will only hunt for food and not sport. I don't agree with killing animals for fun....my opinion only. But it is horrible how that page openly calls for the murder of people.

Not to say your wrong with your opinion. All hunting is fun, no matter what the quarry. IMO the only actual critter which gets shot for "fun" is gophers. Most people I know use yotes after they are killed, whether they are given to a colony or what ever. I can put good money on wolves not being left afield.....

These FB groups are full of nothing but ill informed bleeding heart people who have nothing constructive to add to the world, So they have to have pages like this to make them feel better about themselves.

What's the difference between: you kill a deer, use the meat and waste the hide..... I kill a coyote, use the hide and feed other wildlife with the meat?

Killing coyotes/wolves to assist with predation or protection of livestock and game populations is not killing for fun.

What's the difference??? I do not enjoy the taking of an animal life! That's the difference. I will do it because after some research I have determined the health reasons, also learning skills that are rapidly going away, and agree or not there are many who like to kill these animals for fun. I live in Alberta in a small town full of hunters, so don't try and double talk me. The experiences i have had lead me to this.

Disclaimer... i do recognize that not all hunters are like this and it is those ones i will be going out with.

I think the last time I was on FB was 2013 but I hopped on just to report it. Who knows, might raise enough fuss to get it taken down.

That's a good one, too many people but us all in the same boat, while the percentage of hunters who kill for fun is actually an infinite minority

Some folks are born knowing every thing and will resist all attempts at being educated.

"I will do it because after some research I have determined the health reasons, also learning skills that are rapidly going away"

What does this mean? What research? Health reasons? Learning skills? Where are they going. I don't understand what you are saying.

Why not eat coyotes? The original fast food. The other white meat.

You're right opinion is not fact, and? What's your point? I understand the issues of overpopulation and other problems which arise and there are methods of controlling this, so why the comment of resisting education?

Reported it as harassment as well. Someone should post the video that was caught by a passing motorist of a wolf feeding on a deer that it had just taken down and the doe was still alive on that FB page.

I posted this same thread on another forum from the states and you woudn't believe the number of guys that said that reporting the site was a waste of time ,that they just plain refused to read it , etc . etc .. Don't think they will be happy when people like the wolf and coyote hunter haters get us all shut down . Thanx to everyone here has made an attempt to help our cause .

Well the day I stop enjoying hunting is the day I stop. If you hunt for the meat alone you are wasting a pile of cash and time every year.

It is about pitting yourself against your quarry. Against Mother Nature. (That cow!) And most of all, it's about pitting yourself against, well, yourself.

At the end of all this is a huge adrenaline rush. If you don't like that then you're doing it wrong. There's no need to try and be so high and mighty about it.

You have been hunting less than a year. I think your ideas will change as you get more experience. Nothing is wasted in nature and there are many reasons to hunt besides food.

I don't have a Facebook but got my woman to go on and report it, she then took it upon herself to post a bit of an educational rant. Read some of the nonsense while she was on and got myself all worked up.

I reported the page and about 10 posts where they threatened to hurt someone and Facebook won't do anything.
