Great game boys...don't slack off on Panthers and Hurricane...could end up being one great road trip.

Flames give up a pp goal to Panthers early in second and a half minute later they put a beauty piece of passing together and Monahan ties it! Push back! Love the way the team responds!

I know its only his 5th game, but I am really liking Rittich so far. Wouldn't mind him getting a few more starts.

Agree, Rittich is looking really good, between him and Smith we can't complain about goal tending.
Going into the third with a two goal lead is starting to be a Flames thing...hope they don't let Panthers back in, but score a couple more!

Anyone who thinks Tkachuk is just a pest clearly knows nothing about hockey. Beast mode in the assist on the empty netter. Great hockey sense, skill and tenacity.

That was really impressive how he kept any control with 2 Panthers on his back.

The Flames are on a hot streak, if they keep it up, they have a chance at the playoffs. Meanwhile Edmonton needs to win tonight just to get back to 11 points behind.

Oilers are on a hot streak too. Crap gives off lots of heat.

Watch sports desk tonight for the empty netter.....

Wow, an assist on an empty netter how impressive. I never said that he wasn't effective, I just don't like him.

Lucic just got an assist on an empty netter as well. I wasn't that impressed.

Sorry, no number 19 jersey for me. However, being the Chucky super fan you may appreciate something along these lines. (sorry no Photoshop, only Paint)

Great start for Flames, with Monahan sick and out, Bennett on his line...2-0 in the first works. Stajan scores from Lazar?! And Dougie is on a roll, Johnny and Bennett with the assists. Keep rolling!

That was awesome... LOLOLOLOL
Isn't that great you have so much time to do that now that the Oilers are in (Or should be) in free fall mode.

Kid is crazy good and just a great hockey guy. I am watching the Flames try and win 7 in a row against Carolina. They just mentioned how he try to get in early to dressing room so that he doesn't take time away from the Vets who need the trainers. Who wouldn't want this guy?

I am wondering if you will end up on the wrong side of history with this guy?

Is it just me or does anyone else not like Cassie Campbell as the colour guy?
My son mentioned how the Play by Play guy never really talks with her. He hardly even acknowledges her comments.

I have the utmost respect for her accomplishments as a player, and she seems to be a very decent person...but my wife, son, and I all cringe when she does commentary. Not because of content, but because of her voice....she should smoke and drink whisky, maybe get her voice more Leonard Cohen-ish...

The Flames are a young healthy team who seem like they come to play every night. That coupled with stingy goaltenders has served them well this season. If this pace continues, they hopefully shouldn't have to worry about the Sharks or Ducks come playoff time. Those two teams have been their achilles heel for many playoff runs. Here's hoping that the Ducks won't be rearing their ugly heads this playoff season.
