Carseland fishing

Needed to get out of the house and am headed towards Carseland.
Any decent fishing spots around there?
I'll be bring a spinning reel.

Anyone heading out between the Wier and Hwy 24 bridge? I just relocated to the area and have all gear including waders n such. Would be great to tag along.
