This is true. However, the punishment for trespassing while hunting is still less than if you poached an animal without a tag, out of season, shot at night, etc where the fines are much greater and the seizure of everything that assisted in the hunt is possible (ie. rifle, truck, quad, etc). If trespassing while hunting was considered poaching why aren't the penalties as severe as those poaching activities?
