Default Waterfowl Hunting Dog

I know I've asked this, however I lose the paper I had it all written down on and I'm not sure where the thread went as I tried searching for it.

Where did you get your hunting dog and why (looking for the training as well)

Trailrunners in Saskatchewan.

Why? Pleasant to deal with and I like their breeding philosophy.

And he is more than a waterfowl dog.

Also Trailrunners. Fran really knows what she is doing. I couldn't be happier with my dog.

i have a Chesapeake bay retriever and a cocker spaniel
the Chesapeake isn't trained yet as I just basically got her
she is a grt grt grand daughter of my original chessie
one big reason for acquiring her
I'll do the training myself
I got her from Brian west in sylvan lake AB

my cocker spaniel is small but thinks she is a giant
she will retrieve grouse and the little tiny Canada geese and ducks we have in this area but the big honkers almost out weigh her but she has fun trying to haul one back to the blind
I trained her myself
I got her from Red frog here on this forum

My dog is one of theirs. He is amazing. Honestly could not be happier. Contact Barton down there and he will help. Amazing dog breeder / trainer.
