Default ebay's last minute delivery increase???

Has anyone noticed on ebay that when an item is in the closing stage that the delivery charge triples or more in price?

Why? Is this common?

Just saw an item go from $15 to $80 delivery in the last 15min before ending.

Send an email to eBay and complain. They will enforce the sellers to stay on the 'up and up'.

Ebay forbids such tactics and they will straighten it out.

What is happening is that the seller doesn't like the price he's getting so he is trying to make up the difference with the shipping charges.
Totally against ebay rules.

Althou some are just getting around to updating thanks to the usps price increase.

Still bull thou. I usually send them a request for invoice, or atleast a email with my postal code as well as a break down or source of quote for shipping.
Usually nets me a reduction and a bs line about well maybe just maybe once I could squeeze it into a smaller package..
