Default More Poachers

Crap, I get raked over the coals when I cross the line with 3 grand!!!!! These guys paid cash for their fines and flew back to Mexico.

I wouldn't call them poachers... The animals where harvested legally, just the wrong permits. But I bet it was cheaper to use the Edmonton taxidermist....

By the sounds of it the guy has been all over the world hunting, and having said that he should realize that your outfitter is not the only one who should know the rules and regs of getting your trophies home after your hunt.

Default Fine funding environmental groups?

The last statement in that post is a little concerning. Dont know anything about the group listed as "environmental group". Hopefully this isnt some anti-hunting tree-hugger group, that just got an 80,000.00 bonus.

Uhh not allowed to bring bears into mexico , come on,something smells off. So no permit to export a hide into a country that will not allow import of said hide . Our laws they may not have a full understanding of, you can bet they know their own countrys law. How many laws do you need to ignore to be classified poacher.

Court fines shouldn't go to any group whether we support them or not including the police. Keep it in general revenue.
