Win 95 pooched barrel

A buddy bought an auction gun in 30-40 Krag that needs a re-bore to a larger caliber .35 Win or .405. Can a 1917 Enfield 30-06 barrel be chamber shortened and re-chambered to Krag or fit a PH .303 barrel to make a functional shooter? Ron Smith has reamers for the .35 and .405
