Default Custom rod builder

Ok after the pike rod thread I have decided I want a custom rod made for this coming open water season. Seeing the appropriate 2 piece musky rod blank was available in Canada was the final straw lol

Does anyone have a recommendation for a rod builder here in Alberta and better yet Edmonton area?

Only one in the area I could find was Dan O custom rods but his Facebook page has not been updated in sometime. Does anyone know if he is still around or have experience with his rods/service?

Yup Matt lives here in cold lake.
I got one of his rods too.
Seems he only makes one piece rods but you can always ask.

Yeah he doesn’t make any pike rod that would come close to what I need power wise or 2 pieces but neither does anyone else I have found in Alberta

But I know the 2 piece blank I want the rod built off of and don’t mind providing it for whoever I choose or is willing to do this project

Only reason I won’t build it myself is I know it would lead to a new never ending hobby if I do and I have too many hobbies costing money and time already lol
