As with all reservoir based wild Kokanee populations in North America, they are small. Usually 8”-10” max at maturity when they spawn and die. Tough to find fishable schools in Williston.

If you are looking for the best Kokanee fishing in BC look at the stocked lakes in the cariboo region. Ten Mile Lake, Sulphurous, Bridge, Deka, Tyee all good options. Some with trophy sized Kokanee that push 5lbs.

In the omineca (Prince George) region lakes like Ness, Camp, Eena, Purden all have plenty of them, but are over stocked and max out at about 15 inches.

Further south, lakes like stump near kamloops have good kokanee.

You can find all the stocking info by going to gofishbc.com in general, the omenica region is severely over stocked, but high catch rates, whereas lakes to the south are stocked at lower densities and grow bigger fish.
