Unless you are very proficient at knowing what is legal and/or aging on the hoof, you should be inside the ranges you mentioned above.

Id say you need to more proficient at shooting from different positions
More so than just shooting at distance

We were preparing to set up for a 400 yard prone shot
Which I was far more confident taking compared to the rushed 275 yard shot sitting off of a backpack

Wildwoods & Marky
thanks for the replies. it was just for the thirst of knowledge only.
A sheep hunt from what ia see unless your a lucky draw resident is far outreaching my finances now in in the future. 40k and up.
would be a exciting hunt barring any crap storms, griz and injuries. But thats what makes it fun.

There was some young up and comers that are going to be huge in a couple years. And I’m more than happy to take the oldest ram off the mountain
He doesn't look 12 based on my count, any close ups of them growth rings?

congrats either way, just seeing if I could age him if I had to. great ram if hes 8 or 15....

Nothing wrong with the pics

Pretty much. I have a friend who owns a power line company. He has an incredible knack for figuring out locations of hunts he sees online. His amazing memory coupled with thousands of miles on foot in the backcountry gives him the ability to cherry pick hunting spots all over BC. I don’t blame you a bit for editing those photos.
