G96 Gun Treatment
I am down to my last can, so I went looking at local vendors for it, and nobody had any in stock. Cabelas listed the 4.5 ounce cans , but no stock, and the price is around $20. Looking online, the 12 ounce cans are only around $5 more than the 4.5ounce can, so I don't understand why anyone would choose the 4.5 ounce can, except for maybe a range bag, where size is important. So I had Prophet River order a case of the 12 ounce cans, and that will keep myself and a few friends going for a few more years.

The small cans are 'cologne' sized for your make-up bag, keeps you smelling nice when travelling.

.
I bought a couple of 12 oz cans locally for $29.00 plus tax, outrageous price but they had stock so made the purchase.

Look again, the small can is only 4.5 ounces. Yet the 12 ounce can is only $5 more.

In addition to being a great product, G96 is by far the best smelling gun CLP that I've tried.

I have a couple cans of G96, good stuff.
About 10 years ago a locksmith who hunts, gave me a tip and a link to a lubricity test with a bunch of major gun oils, and a couple others. Locksmiths know lubrication better than most. It turned out that WD-40, specialist, ptfe, dry lube won the test, and was what he used on locks, and his action after cleaning. I tried it and couldn't argue even in cold weather. It's slick.
I just thought I would throw that in.

Every time my front door won't close right, it gets a squirt of g96 on the latch, and I'm back in business.

If anyone gets out Consort way, the Co-op hardware keeps G-96 in stock.
