Default 7x57 Mauser bullet weight

Any of you guys have a rifle chambered in 7x57 Mauser or experience with it?
If so, what bullet weights do you like, or works best for you? (I'll be reloading for it)
22 inch barrel on a Ruger #1. Mostly for closer range WT Deer.

I used to mostly load 160 grain Game Kings for my 7x57's , but also loaded 140's for others
My silhouette load for my hunter class Ruger was 145 Speers and 140 Match Kings

My load for my #1 7x57 was 175gr hornady interlocks at 2600 fps with imr 4350. Great penetration and expansion. Shot on average 1.25-1.5" groups.

Been shooting a 7x57 in a Winchester Featherweight XTR for about 40 years, my absolute favorite rifle and cartridge.
Have 2 loads developed for it using 120 and 139 grain bullets, the 120's running 0.5" groups at 2,950 fps and the 139's throwing 0.75" groups at 2750 fps.
My preferred hunting load is Hornady 139 gr. Interlock over a decent amount of IMR 4350. Developed this load in the early '80's have never felt the need to change it.
It is just one of those rifle/cartridge combos that has performed excellent for me over the years.

I run 2 different bullet weights in my 7x57 Ruger No.1 International.

154 grain Interlock’s (RN or SP)[2375fps], and 139 grain BTSP Interlock’s[2600fps]

Sight in dead on with the 154’s at 100 yds and you’re about 2-3/4” high at 100 yds with the 139’s

Win win!

Oh, ya.
Bear, and deer be it, 30 yds or 250 yds, they just die.

I have a couple 22" win 70's and load the 139 hornady interlock bullets for deer. Very effective and I've found no need to try anything else. One rifle is a featherweight (my wife's) and the other is a Winlite with a factory McMillan stock.
I did load up some Speer 160's for a succesful moose hunt once. Also worked great.
