There were four bucks with antlers pushing each other in my grazed off corn field yesterday, along with about 40 other whitetails. The bucks weren't trying to kill each other but stayed at it for quite a while. A 160-170 buck survived hunting season so I hope his sheds are out there and I find them before they end up in a tire.

As for winter kill, it's the early falls and late springs that kill the deer in my experience.
