Default JB Bore Cleaning Compound Alternative

I've been meaning to try Brownell's J-B non embedding bore cleaning compound but find extemely hard to find online, at least in Canada and Brownell's never seem to have it in stock when I look.

Is there an alternative to this product which others are using that would serve the same purpose?

Seems to me its nothing more than metal lapping compound which is a lot easier to get, not sure what grit would be appropriate or similar to JB.

Iosso brushes are about the best.
Make sure you get the cleaning solution and the paste.
I thought plenty of patches carried both Iosso as well as JB bore paste.

Its not metal lapping compound and wont abrade steel. It abrades carbon deposits. You would be sorry to try metal lapping compound
