Outbuilding wifi options
What are the options for getting wifi out to my shop 70 feet away from the house?
My wifi is
Upload speed: Up to 75 Mbps
Download speed: Up to 150 Mbps

Former Journeyman Communication Tech here.
I'd personally trench a quad of cat 6 lines to the garage, at the interior plug have a wifi extender.
If that's not an option get an extender as close to your garage as possible in the house.

Is there an extender that can be mounted on the exterior of the house? How do campgrounds have wifi available ?

I needed to get wifi from my shop to a sea can. This worked for me:
https://store.rokland.com/products/a...rv-boat-camper
Made for campers to read in campgrounds. Picks up my shop wifi.

I like Jayhad's idea.
Another option is a wifi bridge, for building-to-building applications. Not the cheapest option, but effective. Something like this:

trenching is not a good option I have a low deck across the back of the house, sidewalks and pavement by the garage to go under I have a coax cable out there however the cable service has been upgraded they no longer use coax

2nd vote for Sageones recommendation
I have 2 of these units, one to my mancave/ shop and one to my Uncles house 500 ft away. I run another router inside both recieving locations to make the security cameras and such easier to connect. Love these things and will be trying a longer range parabolic dish type to just for ****s and giggles to see if I can bridge to distant security camera ( 3 miles away ).
Directions for these things were likely written by someone with English as a 5th language LOL. But relatively easy if you watch a couple YouTube vids

Easily and cheaply done with a line of sight between 2 antenna. I think it's under $300

I have mesh wifi at my place. I use Google wifi mesh routers, but there are other brands. I have one in a room closest to my outbuilding, and another in my outbuilding 50' away. Works great, excellent connection and speed, no switching between connection points, it's super easy, just plug them in.

If your building is metal siding it will have a big impact on how effective this may be.

And they’re 50% off right now. $350 for the hardware and $140/month for service.

We picked this up when all of us were working from home at the height of the pandemic. The range on the 4200 model is amazing. I could get 4/5 bars at our neighbors house two doors down. I think we paid $250.

My house has stucco on the exterior I was told the wire mesh holding on the cement has a negative effect on Wifi transmission. The wireless bridge looks like the way to go, the coax cable was buried 20+ years ago most likely outdated.
Thanks for the ideas never heard of a wireless bridge before

TP-Link EAP225-Outdoor | Omada AC1200 Wireless Gigabit Outdoor Access Point | Business WiFi Solution w/ Mesh Support, Seamless Roaming & MU-MIMO | PoE Powered | SDN Integrated | Cloud Access & App https://a.co/d/asgkdHV
I have one of these wired to my router and installed it by my deck. I then have another one like this installed inside my shop, just powered by a poe supply, no cat or data cables. Real cheap and gives me coverage all over my yard and in my shop and beyond.
Shop is 80 feet away behind a lot of trees

Just set them up pointed at each other in the same room until you figure out the slave and host system. P.S if your memory is as bad as mine it helps to # them with a felt pen. Pretty easy once you get the channel set and they do work really well.

I just went through this.
Bought the ASUS zenWifi Mesh system and it works great.
Building is steel siding and 70ft from the house. Can stream hockey in the shop no issues.

I’ve been looking at TP-Link and Ubiquiti for quite a while, Immigrant finally pushed me over the edge to order. Thank you for that!
One extra tip, if you want a stand-alone system (no PC running 24/7 to control the network), you will also need a controller, an extra $100 or so. Currently I have 2 X EAP 225 running, there is WiFi 300 yards from the router, and the previously dead area shop has full WiFi bars. The mesh system is expandable, APs can be added wherever there is a power source and some signal from the network. Someday another EAP will be added, probably as a portable unit, I need WiFi in different places in the yard depending on the time of the year.
The setup was pretty easy with the app. I have zero networking experience after a few YouTube university videos the setup took about 20 minutes.
Now for some WiFi cameras to watch the grain cleaner!
Total cost so far is just under $300, money well spent IMHO.
Thanks for the tips Immigrant!

You’re welcome. It becomes addictive! I have now expanded my mesh network to 3 indoor AP’s and 3 outdoor, with 57 devices connected 🤣
