Looks like I''m sent near Edmonton. Plan to try near by Pembina River near the park heard big fish are caught there. Any tips or advice, I'd fly fish for Grayings but the other species I'd spincast or use bait. I'd also like some fun trout on the way back, so I plan to hit Birch Lake to see if I can slay some ''big'' trout there (also a variety), any tips or advice would help. Don't know about big trout in Birch. Was there 2 weekends ago kayak fishing.Tons of little rainbows and Brookies nothing over 12". Also landed a Brown that was over 16". Funny how one decent fish made my trip worth it. But I wouldn't count on BIG fish.

Well glad you got a nice brown, hope to catch some bigger ones hopefully, heard its good on ifish. I also really admire the diversity of the place and some species around the area too.
