Fishing Buddy gets first early season Sylvan Whitefish

Fish Eagle's back, last night (April 25th) on my hydro pole, around 8:00ish, supper for one!

Sylvan's basically ice covered, there's a bit of open water along the shoreline around Norglenwold - Marina Bay area, guess just enough for the local Osprey to catch one.

A big crow tried to get his supper, Osprey left with his meal the crow got a small piece of left overs, I got the crow with my slingshot, Robins were happy today!

Spring has arrived .... waiting for the golf course to open.

Along the same lines, I took my dog out to the mouth of 9 mile creek today and saw 3 otters playing on the lake ice about 50 yards out. I tried to get a good picture, but if you've ever tried to photograph an otter you probably know... they are surely the most frustrating of critters to photograph. I've run into groups of them plenty of times, even had them come to within an arms length, but I have yet to get a good picture.

Great picture, that bird has a really intense look to him.

Sylvan today (April 27th) ice is melting slowly and people are on the beach.
